What’s In This Install Guide?
This guide will walk you through the steps of installing and using the LCD upgrade kit for your YASNAC i80 – M20A03-I80S or ML080LLI80S. You’ll find out how to use the device, where it can be used, and how to use it effectively.
This install guide is designed for anyone who needs to use and or install the LCD upgrade kit for your YASNAC i80 – M20A03-I80S. It’s also designed for anyone who wants to learn more about this product by reading through it.
IMPORTANT: WARRANTYBefore using any MONITECH product, please carefully review this Manual as well as any additional documentation provided with your shipment.
Attempting any of the following will void product warranty:
- Unauthorized repairs or parts replacement
- Inappropriate use or placement: exposing the product to liquids, harmful gases, electrical shock, physical shock, temperatures beyond the range of -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C)
- Use of electrical voltage other than 12V 4.16A (power supply and AC cable provided)
- Removal or modification of serial, product, or warranty labels.
REMOVAL:
- Step #1) Turn off main power, turn off machine.
- Step #2) Unscrew the screws around the border of the HMI, unscrew ground, and detach power.
- Step #3) Unscrew 4 screws holding the CRT cover.
- Step #4) Remove high voltage from the CRT by placing a screwdriver underneath the rubber of the anode lead, and the other end should touch metal. With another screwdriver, put the tip onto metal and cross it with the first screwdriver.
- Step #5) Unplug the Brightness & Contrast control cable, and the Video Cable from the CRT board.
- Step #6) Unscrew 4 screws holding the CRT in place. Remove the CRT from the interface.
INSTALLATION:
- Step #1) Take the Monitech monitor out of the box and mount it onto the machine using the 4 holes on the corners with the 4 screws provided. Make sure to attach grounds with nuts.
- Step #2) Use the Monitech cable provided and plug the white-dotted pin onto the green wire or ground. Then plug in VGA and tighten the screws, plug in the power jack. Zip tie the cables together to keep them organized.
- Step #3) Test the monitor before screwing the HMI back in. Plug the power back in and screw the ground back in. Turn on power. If everything is good, put the screws in to fasten the HMI. Use the user guide to adjust the image.
