The MPCB006 Frequency Meter helps diagnose issues with video signal transmission for Monitech monitors. If your monitor displays “No Signal” or a blue screen, this indicates the monitor is not receiving video signals. The Frequency Meter can be used to test the adapter cable and pinpoint signal issues.
Warranty Information
To maintain the product warranty, avoid:
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
- Exposure to liquids, harmful gases, physical/electrical shocks, or extreme temperatures (-20°C to 60°C / -4°F to 140°F).
- Using a power supply other than 12V 4.16A.
- Removing or altering serial numbers or warranty labels.
- Disconnect the VGA connector and power jack from the monitor.
- Connect the VGA connector and power jack to the Frequency Meter.
- Switch the meter to check H-Sync and V-Sync signals:
- H-Sync: Should read between 55–65 kHz.
- V-Sync: Should read between 15–30 Hz.
- No or odd readings suggest:
- The video card is not supplying pulses to the adapter cable, or
- The adapter cable has incorrect pin configurations.
